Pilates Classes
Our Pilates classes are based on the Joseph H. Pilates principles and combined with modern exercise methods. It emphasises alignment, breathing, developing a strong core and improving coordination and balance. The core, consisting of the muscles of the abdomen, lower back, and hips, is often called the “powerhouse” and is thought to be the key to a person’s stability.
Regularly participating in Pilates classes will improve:
- Posture
- Muscle Conditioning
- Back pain and stress
- Rehabilitation post-surgery
- Mind-body awareness
- Confidence
- Athletic performance
Our classes vary from beginners to intermediate level. You are welcome to join our aqua therapy group classes too, and mix and match classes!
